I know everyone is busy thinking about the upcoming holidays and gifts to buy. One of most interesting and unique places to shop is at a local craft sale. I know what you’re thinking, craft sales are just a bunch of baking, knitted scarves, handmade soap, jars of honey and pottery. Actually, it’s more than that, there are a lot of talented people that have some pretty cool stuff to sell and though it’s hit and miss sometimes, because everyone has different tastes, it’s always worthwhile picking up something you can’t buy on Amazon or at Walmart.
I’m setting up a table at the Winterpeg holiday sale at Notre Dame Recreation Centre (see picture for address) on Saturday, November 29th. It starts at 10:00 am and runs until 3:00 pm. There a 50/50 draw, door prizes and it’s free to attend. If you can, bring a non-perishable food donation in support of St. Boniface Street Links.
Since it’s not an art show, I won’t be bringing my larger paintings, but I’ll have plenty of smaller works, prints (new ones too!), shirts, cards and buttons, so come check it out. I now accept Visa/debit, e-transfers and of course, good ol’ cash. Hope to see you there! Come by and say hi!
